Hello friends, welcome to this here, blog post.
I am writing this at the beginning of a new phase in my journey and I’m realising once again that every end is a new beginning.
At this point, I am seeing the intersectionality of various aspects of my life and thought about what it means to be at a cross-road. Knowing where you want to, and having different paths that may or may not lead there. If you take the wrong one, you might never get to your destination. And, if you take the long road, there’s no guarantee that you can withstand the challenges ahead. And yet, you do not know which of the paths at the crossroad is the one to get you there just in time while you still have the energy to enjoy your destination.
I find my faith journey, my fitness journey and my financial journey coming together in a way I had not yet imagined as I had always scheduled them separately. I am learning to blend them together and hope that on this journey of discovery, I will learn and inspire others. For a good part of 2021 things were slow, then 2022 I began having time to focus on these aspects of my life differently and somehow started treating them as though they were unrelated.
Now, I am moving on to have a regular work day once again and have to gel them together and make the most of life while doing so. During the time I spent at home while transitioning from varsity to work, Different days were for a different focus. Mondays and Thursdays, I would focus on fitness. The whole works, nutrition, exercise and all within. Tuesdays and Fridays, I would focus on meditation, prayer and all things spiritual. Then on Wednesdays and Saturdays, I would focus on the bag, all my money activities were within. Sundays are always for church and family. Whereas back while I was studying, my fitness was suffering as I was inconsistent due to my workload. And finances were constantly in ICU. One thing that always took precedence next to my studies was my spiritual life. My mom drilled it in, lol.
Now, going back to work, and going to work in a different environment than the one I was in before means that I have to streamline everything. I know they all work and will be intentionally merging them together so that I can be the best version of myself.
Let’s begin and aim for success.
